Day 6: Replace your shampoo bottle with bars!

To be totally honest: I have not completely phased out our shampoo bottles! Before we started this journey my husband caught the Couponing Bug and we still have a cabinet full of shampoo bottles. I have made the switch for traveling though. We've also offloaded some of the extras to family and friends who stop by. 

Every hotel I have stayed at over the last year, has had travel size bottles in the bathrooms. Ok, well not all of them. There was a hotel in DC that had refillable bottles in the room! That was probably one of my all time favorite places to stay. 

The bars make it so simple to get through security since I don't have to abide by the 3oz rule! I not only have bars for shampoo and conditioner, but also my facial cleanser.

In my most recent visit to Austin I found these conditioner rounds from Spinster Sisters Co.

I've yet to find shampoo/conditioner bars at the local farmers market. But if you have the option to shop local please do!
